Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Medhance Institute Australia. These terms and conditions delineate the regulatory framework for our professional training programs and digital services. By enrolling in our nurse-led aesthetic courses, you signify your acceptance of these protocols, which are designed to maintain the highest standards of clinical education, student safety, and professional ethics.

1. DEFINITIONS

In these Terms:

Course means any training program, workshop, or educational service delivered by Medhance Institute Australia.

Course Materials means all manuals, presentations, guides, templates, videos, and resources provided before, during, or after a Course.

Deposit means the non-refundable amount required to secure a booking.

Fee means the total cost of the Course.

Model means an individual who has provided written informed consent to receive treatment for training purposes.

Personal Information has the meaning given under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We, Us, Our refers to Medhance Institute Australia.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By enrolling in a Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Your place in a Course is confirmed only upon receipt of payment (deposit or full fee).

All information provided at the time of booking must be accurate and complete, including professional registration details where applicable. We reserve the right to cancel your enrolment without refund if false or misleading information is provided.

3. COURSE DELIVERY

We aim to deliver Courses at the advertised venue and date. However, we reserve the right to:

  • Reschedule a Course

  • Change venue

  • Modify course structure

  • Cancel a Course

Where a Course is cancelled by us, you will be offered:

  • A transfer to an alternative date; or

  • A full refund of fees paid

 

Medhance Institute Australia is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or related expenses incurred by delegates.

Course content may be updated to reflect regulatory changes, best clinical practice, or training improvements.

4. DELEGATE RESPONSIBILITIES

By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Attend the full Course

  • Arrive on time

  • Act professionally and respectfully

  • Comply with all health and safety requirements

  • Practice only within your professional scope as defined by AHPRA or your relevant regulatory body

 

You may not perform procedures during training unless approved by the supervising trainer.

 

Completion of a Course does not authorise you to practice outside your registered scope.

 

We reserve the right to remove any delegate who is disruptive, unsafe, unethical, or acting outside professional standards. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

5. PAYMENT AND FEES

  • Full payment is required to secure your place.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.

  • Discounted offers must be paid in full before the advertised expiry date.

  • Rescheduling hands on training days may incur an administrative fee.

6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Due to limited course availability, the following policy applies:

  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • 50% of the Course Fee becomes non-refundable upon confirmed booking.

  • No refund is provided for failure to attend or incomplete attendance.

  • Rescheduling practical dates must be requested in writing at least 30 days prior to the  hands on training days.

 

If Medhance Institute Australia cancels a Course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrolments, delegates will be offered:

  • A transfer of on hands date

 

We are not liable for travel or accommodation expenses in the event of cancellation or rescheduling.

7. MODEL

Models must:

  • Be aged 18 years or older

  • Provide signed informed consent

  • Understand that treatments are performed by training delegates under supervision

 

A booking deposit may be required to secure a model appointment. This deposit is non-refundable for non-attendance.

 

Model treatments are educational procedures. Outcomes are not guaranteed.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Course Materials remain the property of Medhance Institute Australia.

 

You may use materials for personal professional development only.

 

You must not:

  • Record training sessions

  • Copy or reproduce materials

  • Share materials with third parties

  • Publish training content online

 

Unauthorised use of Course Materials may result in legal action.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Medhance Institute Australia may capture photographs or videos during training for educational and marketing purposes.

 

Written consent will be obtained prior to use.

 

Delegates and Models must not publish training images on social media without written permission.

 

If you wish to request removal of an image, please email:

10. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

 

Delegates must treat all Model information as strictly confidential.

 

Personal Information may only be used for training purposes and must not be copied, stored, or shared.

11. CERTIFICATES

Certificates of Completion are issued upon successful attendance.

 

A Certificate confirms attendance only and does not:

  • Guarantee competency

  • Guarantee employment

  • Guarantee insurance eligibility

  • Replace regulatory registration requirements

 

Delegates are responsible for ensuring compliance with their own professional body.

12. LIABILITY

Courses are delivered with reasonable care and skill.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Liability is limited to the Course Fee paid

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

 

Delegates remain clinically responsible for treatments performed during or after training.

13. COMPLAINTS

Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to:

medhanceinstitute@gmail.com

 

We aim to:

  • Acknowledge complaints within 2 business days

  • Provide a written response within 20 business days

 

Complaints should be made within 6 months of the relevant event.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.

15. AHPRA ADVERTISING & SCOPE OF PRACTICE DISCLAIMER

15.1 Regulatory Compliance

Medhance Institute Australia is committed to complying with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law and the advertising guidelines set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
 

Our training programs are educational in nature and are designed to support continuing professional development for appropriately qualified health practitioners.
 

Nothing on our website, social media platforms, marketing materials, or course content is intended to:

  • Guarantee clinical outcomes

  • Guarantee employment opportunities

  • Guarantee insurance eligibility

  • Guarantee registration approval

  • Encourage practitioners to practice outside their scope
     

15.2 No Guaranteed Outcomes

Individual clinical results vary.

Any images, case studies, or treatment examples displayed in training materials or marketing content are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute a promise, guarantee, or representation of specific outcomes.
 

15.3 Scope of Practice

Delegates are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring they are appropriately qualified and registered (if required)

  • Practicing within their legally permitted scope

  • Meeting all AHPRA, National Board, and professional indemnity insurance requirements


Completion of a Course with Medhance Institute Australia does not:

  • Expand a practitioner’s scope of practice

  • Override AHPRA registration standards

  • Replace formal qualifications

  • Grant prescribing rights

  • Authorise independent practice
     

Practitioners must ensure that they meet all regulatory and insurance requirements before performing any clinical procedure.


15.4 Testimonials and Reviews

In accordance with AHPRA advertising guidelines:

  • Testimonials used by Medhance Institute Australia relate only to educational services.

  • We do not publish testimonials that reference clinical outcomes in a way that could be misleading.

  • Testimonials do not represent typical or guaranteed results.


15.5 Clinical Responsibility

All clinical procedures performed during training are:

  • Conducted under supervision

  • Performed with informed written consent

  • Undertaken in accordance with current safety standards


After completion of training, delegates remain fully responsible for their own clinical decisions, patient assessments, consent processes, and treatment outcomes.
 

15.6 Professional Advice

Nothing contained within our Courses or marketing materials constitutes medical, legal, or regulatory advice.

Delegates are encouraged to seek independent legal, regulatory, and insurance advice where necessary.


 





Delegates must complete all required components of the Course, including:

  • Online didactic learning modules; and

  • Hands-on practical training sessions

within twelve (12) months from the date of enrolment.
 

If a delegate does not complete the Course within this timeframe:

  • Access to online learning materials may be suspended; and

  • Practical training eligibility may expire.
     

Re-enrolment or extension may be offered at the sole discretion of Medhance Institute Australia and may incur an additional administrative or course fee.
 

Medhance Institute Australia is under no obligation to provide ongoing access to course materials, training dates, or supervision beyond the 12-month completion period.
 

Delegates are responsible for booking and attending practical training within the permitted timeframe.

 



 







Delegates enrolling in hands-on clinical training must hold valid professional indemnity insurance that covers participation in aesthetic training and clinical procedures performed under supervision.
 

Proof of current insurance may be requested prior to participation in practical training sessions.
 

Delegates acknowledge that:

  • Medhance Institute Australia does not provide individual insurance coverage for delegates;

  • It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure their insurance policy adequately covers training activities; and

  • Failure to provide evidence of appropriate insurance may result in refusal of participation in hands-on training without refund. 
    Delegates remain fully responsible for ensuring they meet all professional, regulatory, and insurance requirements relevant to their scope of practice.







     

  • Courses offered by Medhance Institute Australia are designed for appropriately qualified healthcare professionals seeking continuing professional development in aesthetic medicine.

    By enrolling in a Course, delegates confirm that they:

  • Hold a relevant healthcare qualification, such as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, medical practitioner, dentist, or other suitably regulated health professional; and

  • Are registered with their relevant regulatory body where applicable, including the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Delegates may be required to provide evidence of:

  • Professional registration

  • Qualifications

  • Professional indemnity insurance

  • Identification

    Medhance Institute Australia reserves the right to verify professional credentials at any stage of the enrolment process.

    If a delegate is found to have:

  • Provided false or misleading information regarding their qualifications or registration; or

  • Enrolled despite not meeting the eligibility requirements for the Course
    Medhance Institute Australia reserves the right to cancel the enrolment immediately without refund.
    Completion of a Course does not guarantee that a delegate is eligible to perform aesthetic procedures in their professional capacity.

    Delegates remain solely responsible for ensuring they comply with:

  • The requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

  • Their relevant National Board

  • Professional indemnity insurers

  • Applicable state and federal legislation before performing any clinical procedures.


     

 





Courses provided by Medhance Institute Australia are educational training programs designed to provide theoretical knowledge and supervised practical exposure to aesthetic procedures.

Training may include, but is not limited to:

  • Facial anatomy relevant to aesthetic medicine

  • Patient consultation and assessment

  • Treatment planning principles

  • Product knowledge and indications

  • Injection techniques and safety principles

  • Complication recognition and management

  • Ethical practice and informed consent

Course content is delivered for educational and professional development purposes only.
 

Completion of training does not:

  • Certify clinical competency

  • Grant prescribing rights

  • Authorise independent practice

  • Replace formal medical or nursing qualifications

Delegates must practice only within their legally permitted scope of practice as defined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and their relevant National Board.




 





Unless expressly stated in writing, Courses delivered by Medhance Institute Australia are not formally accredited, endorsed, or approved by:

  • The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

  • Any National Health Practitioner Board

  • Universities or tertiary education institutions

  • Professional medical or nursing colleges

Certificates issued by Medhance Institute Australia confirm attendance and participation in training only.
 

Delegates acknowledge that acceptance of this certificate by:

  • Professional indemnity insurers

  • Employers

  • Prescribing or scripting services

  • Professional bodies

is not guaranteed.


 






Medhance Institute Australia does not control the policies of third-party providers including:

  • Cosmetic prescribing services

  • Telehealth providers

  • Insurance companies

  • Professional bodies

No refund will be provided if a delegate is unable to obtain prescribing access, insurance coverage, employment, or professional recognition based on completion of the Course.
 

Delegates acknowledge that it is their responsibility to confirm acceptance of the Course by any relevant third-party provider prior to enrolling.




 






Delegates acknowledge that after completion of training:

  • All treatments performed in their own clinic or workplace are conducted independently of Medhance Institute Australia.
     

Medhance Institute Australia and its trainers shall not be liable for any claims, complaints, damages, injuries, or adverse outcomes arising from treatments performed by delegates after training has been completed.
 

Delegates remain fully responsible for:

  • Patient assessment

  • Informed consent

  • Treatment decisions

  • Complication management

  • Compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Professional indemnity insurance coverage


     


 





Practical training sessions may involve the use of Models for demonstration and supervised treatment.
 

23.1 Model Sourcing

Unless otherwise specified, Models may be sourced by:

  • Medhance Institute Australia; or

  • Training delegates

Delegates who bring their own Models are responsible for ensuring that Models:

  • Meet eligibility requirements

  • Understand the training environment

  • Provide informed written consent prior to treatment.
     

23.2 Model Consent

All Models participating in training must complete a written informed consent form prior to treatment.

This consent will include acknowledgment that:

  • Treatments are performed in a training environment

  • Procedures are conducted by delegates under supervision

  • Results cannot be guaranteed

  • Asymmetry, bruising, swelling, or other aesthetic variations may occur

  • Additional treatments may be required to achieve desired outcomes
     

Models must be aged 18 years or older and must be medically suitable for treatment.

 

 







All procedures performed during training are conducted under trainer supervision and in accordance with safety protocols.
 

In the event of:

  • A complication

  • An adverse event

  • An unsatisfactory result complaint from a Model
     

Medhance Institute Australia will take reasonable steps to assist with initial clinical assessment and advice during the training session.


However, delegates acknowledge that:
 

  • The treating delegate remains clinically responsible for the procedure they perform; and Ongoing follow-up care or treatment may be required.

    Models will be provided with appropriate post-treatment information and contact instructions.

    Medhance Institute Australia is not responsible for ongoing clinical management outside the training session, unless otherwise agreed in writing

     











    • All Course Materials, educational frameworks, training methods, presentations, treatment protocols, manuals, videos, and teaching resources provided by Medhance Institute Australia are the exclusive intellectual property of Medhance Institute Australia.

      Course Materials are provided solely for the personal professional development of enrolled delegates.

      Delegates must not, without prior written permission from Medhance Institute Australia:

  • Teach, reproduce, or deliver training based on Medhance Institute Australia course content

  • Use Course Materials to create their own aesthetic training programs

  • Replicate the course structure, curriculum, or training framework for commercial training purposes

  • Share or distribute Course Materials with third parties

  • Upload Course Materials to online platforms, websites, or learning portals

  • Record or reproduce training sessions for commercial or educational use

    Delegates acknowledge that the knowledge and teaching methodologies delivered during the Course form part of the proprietary educational framework of Medhance Institute Australia.

    Nothing in the Course grants delegates the right to:

  • Represent themselves as trainers for Medhance Institute Australia; or

  • Deliver training programs that reproduce or substantially replicate Medhance Institute Australia training content.

    Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or commercialisation of Course Materials may result in legal action for breach of intellectual property rights.
